Founders at Work the story of startups

Founders at Work: Stories of Startups' Early Days
Publisher: Apress | ISBN: 1590597141 | edition 2007 | PDF | 472 pages | 14,1 mb

Excellent book of interviews with founders of key technology companies that helped build the web, from Apple to PayPal to Type Pad, making it also an oral history of the creation of an infrastructure and tools for web publishing.

Many of the interviews are programmers who became entrepreneurs and belie the clich├ęs regarding everyday programmers' communicative abilities, though Joshua Schechter of Delicious does talk kind of like a machine and Philip Green spun, cofounder of the defunct ArsDigital, explains why most programmers are conditioned to be unlikable commodities.
